I'm on several POA Architectural Review Boards and I've watched local architects struggle with their BIM software. It seems like you can't get a drawing that looks complete until ALL data is entered. So, right up until their work is finished their drawings are rough and unfinished to the point of being inadequate to show the design intent.

Hi all,

Yea spot on! Bim is great for knocking out the production stuff, but only after a lot work, as you say getting to this point can be struggle. Thats really why there is a place for 2D and PowerCADD, flexibility and ease of use from pitching to production. With a bolt on (when we get there) very easy to use 3D visualiser, cooking!

Hi all,

No very much alive. Just taking us a little longer than we expected. Few pics to show we are getting close.

The wire frame style iimage is actual elevations from PC in 2D that in a few seconds we can match to the 3D world. Any paste from PC is then automatically matched and in the correct xyz. You can extrude with these to add details etc. Or use them illustrative style as in this pic.

Sorry for the lack of info! Been a little busy doing it Wink

Sorry the attachements have reached their limit. Cant post pics on this thread. Will post a few more on a new thread later.

Cheers

Paul

Hi All,

Sorry for the long delay. Rather than post a few bits and bobs decided to tidy up the web site. Its very much a work in progress at the moment so please dont expect everything to work. But the movie tutorials are all working and give a good idea of whats cooking. There is more to come both in terms of features and finishing the site. But there is a fair bit in here to go on with.

Thanks and cheers

Paul

I just spent the last half hour watching the In2Space tutorials -- can't wait until your software is available. It looks great and would benefit my work!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the enouraging comments !

Yes a demo will be available. Will be compatible with 8 back to 2000 possiby earlier.

DWG will be the exchange format but maybe not in 1st release but certainly 1.1. So yes compatible with most apps. One of the first features in the 2nd round, maybe the 1st but doubt it.

Just working on some mini movies for roof tools and so on. So will post again when they are up and running.

Cheers
Paul

Paul --

Consider adding a link to the website or demo videos to your signature or posts about the software you're working on to make it easier for folks to see what you're doing...
