Hello,
My partner and I have bought a block of land here on the Gold Coast / Australia (not close to the beach but in a nice location).
The challenge is that our block slopes upwards to the backand we would love to build there to get some breezes through and to ustilise the front of the block for kids and dogs.
Could anyone point us to a design which could suit the block (4bedrooms, 2 bathrooms)? The back slopes upward by 1m in 4m length (i guess that means 25%). We think that having two levels at the front and one at the back might be the best solution in order to minimise cutting and filling. Some friends suggested that keeping the house as square as possible would make building also cheaper....
Anyhow we have been looking for designs which might be adabtable but without success....
Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers,
Patrick |

Hi Patrick, well I guess you might need to have a house designed for the site. Most stock plans will be designed for relatively flat land. _________________ -Chris Stewart
