Ortelius is a map drawing software. It is fast, and has a convenient and well done interface and also very beautiful. Plus it has great features that PowerCADD doesn't have, like group of layers, levels of layers, organization of symbols, drawing styles, hatches ...
Accept transparent pictures, use PDF has they are (with a transparent background, transparencies, shadows ...)
image browser, different kinds of lines styles, etc.
PowerCADD should take a look in this.
Knowing that it is only a standard version, they are working on a professional version that will have much more than this, and knowing that this standard version will get several new enhancements.
Plus not even speaking about the price ... Only $99 for the standard version !
