Is there any reason that the "Open Polygon", "Close Polygon" and "Fillet Polygon" commands couldn't be active when you're not in "reshape mode" with "open polygon" behaving like the WT scissors tool, "close polygon" operating normally and "fillet polygon" acting on all vertices of the selected polygon(s)?

You're right, John. It's always seemed an inconvenience. Add to this that when cutting a polygon, it depends on the tool, not the operator's choice, whether the polygon is healed to stay closed or not.

Mike Cleveland tells me that "We have done this along with many other user requests in PowerCADD 8 which is now shipping."
