Kaby Lake iMac

Postby robmunach » Mon Aug 07, 2017 11:28 am

Just ordered a 27" Kaby Lake iMac with the 4.2 ghz i7 and 24 gb of RAM and a 256 gb SSD. Will post back once I have a chance to test it out.
Hopefully, it will be noticeably faster than my current mid 2011 i5 iMac with an SSD.

Ok, got the machine setup. The screen is a little sharper and brighter. Noticeably faster using Powercadd. Definitely a nice upgrade, but I am honestly not as blown away as i was expecting.

The more I use this machine, the more I appreciate the 5k screen. Things really are alot sharper and easier on the eyes.
