Sheet Order

Postby poolvibe » Mon Dec 17, 2018 6:24 pm

Does anyone know how to reorder Sheets in the interface. The order seems to be dependent on the order I create them? :?:

I've often wondered the same thing. It would be nice if the sheets could be alphabetized, so I could name them something like "1 demo", "2 floor plan", etc, so they can be in the order I'd like them to be.

regards,

I typically name my sheets based on sheet number, such as A 1.1 - Foundation Plan... and so on. Sheets do seem to get put in order created - sometimes. But mostly mine get created in alphabetical order. When one does not - typically because I named a second sheet the same number - I simply delete the sheet and rename it. That typically puts in in order.

A real problem is when I reach A10- it always inevitably winds up after A1. Example:

A1 Foundation Plan
A10 Schedules and Details
A2 Floor Plan

etc.

When I print sheets I have to do a bit of an extra effort to collate these sheets.

Between the letter and single digit numbers I insert either a space or a zero. That way everything stays in order.

Ditto what Ralph said, to keep the sheets in order single digit sheet numbers need to be named so that they are preceded by a zero (A1 --> A01, etc). My recollection is the last time I renamed a sheet I also had to use the "reset sheet" command to get it into the correct order.

Ditto on Marte's statement about "Reset Sheet". Just tested that and it works.

Thanks Marte'
